The red and white bar down near the tires, what is it and what does it do?

my truck does not have one , or two for that matter.
but you wont gain anything by removing the shocks,
the rest of the linkages are part of the steering.

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.

This seems like a valid question to me, what do you benefit from having those ?

08 250= sold
2005 CCSB 6.0= sold
2011 CCLB 350 dually lariat, 4x4, 6.7 all stock
95 ex cab long bed f250,4x4,7.3 auto with 4.10s and swamps tuning, 3 inch dp.for sale!!!
2002 ex cab long bed 4x4 7.3 auto. Stock and 294k on the clock.

I believe it is to help combat steering wander for bigger tires.

99.5 F350 CC LB HAND SHAKER 09 tow mirrors. QSSB with Irate mount. 4inch exhuast PHP Chip, Adrenaline HPOP. Home made Fuel system with TSD Sump, Banks Intercooler.
