Re: hpox on a dual pump?

I currently have the SS crossover with my Termy pumps. I really don't know if it makes that much of a difference, since I had the crossover before I ever bought the pumps. All I know is that I already have it, and since it's installed it may or may not make any difference, but it certainly doesn't hurt anything.

Sorry, not much info there. I would test it out for you, but I can't find the original oil rail plugs. I haven't seen them in a few years now.

I am using a crossover hose with the 4 line output on my dual Stealth setup. Hows that for a head scratcher?

Thats called using ALL the ports on the heads. MAN your valley is FULLLLLL of oil lines.---hell might as well make a plenum with oil galleys in it.

Re: hpox on a dual pump?

at one time people said that there was no benifit since the dual pumps tie the oil together

most say if you have an hpx line leave it because it is easier
...then again a few swear they ran better with it.

so verdict is out on that one.

For me personally, I didn't really tell much of a difference in how it ran. The one thing I did notice was that with the HPX, it's much much harder to get the truck to romp on cold starts. That's about the only major thing I noticed.

All but one lonely port is used. We already have an oil plenum in each head!

I will be going away from this setup as I will be able to tie the heads together and into the oil system using fewer higher flowing hoses in the near future.
