Monitors

Wondering what type of monitors you guys would suggest. I was think edge cts. Decided I'm going to go with a chip vs the edge evolution do I want to buy the monitor first. Any thoughts or opinions would be helpful.

Re: Monitors

Ts style chip or hydra....custom tunes are way better. Read the thread on the Torque App for Android(if uou have a android ph).

Re: Monitors

torque app will only work with an android phone but its a good monitor. i just bought the edge insight cts and a hydra chip at the same time and i love both. you need to have a monitor that reads egt's with any custom tunes to make sure you don't run too hot so if you don't buy both at the same time buy the monitor first and chip after.

Re: Monitors

Since I bought both from php and got a deal on the insight through them it was 790 with a $75 discount on insight cts included. Bought separately it would have been over $850. The insight cs is about $100 cheaper if you don't want the touchscreen. That price also included the USB extender cable for the hydra chip so I don't have to take it out of the truck to reprogram the tunes. I believe that was $25. The nonexpandable egt probe is around $100 through php but I just bought one on eBay for $75. Expandable is even more $.
