Intake and exhaust

96 Powerstroke: 6637, downpipe to dump exhaust, 140v IDM and a shift kit.

84 Honda Sabre V65 1100: pipes, jet kit and new tires. Faster than I think I'll ever need.

I'm not sure I would even venture the idea of putting sticks in a PMR motor. If you are not going to rebuild the bottom end I'd just run an intake, 4" exhaust and a nice tuner. You could drop in a 38R (I have one on mine) but you are not going to gain much until you get better injectors. You could also install big oil which I've heard is great for stock injectors with custom tunes.

You can put bigger sticks in the truck and have it de-tuned, but what's the point if don't plan on addressing the rods.

You don't want to worry about your rods? Put in some Crowers and run it completely stock. There is risk in ANYTHING you do....especially if it involves stock parts, forged or otherwise.

Re: whats the best combo for pmr's?

I would swap the stage twos out of the OBS into the 02, then put your AD's in the OBS...

Just tune it conservatively. I had over 120k on my PMR motor with stage 2's and hybrids and no issues... Motor is still intact

Tell your tuner what you're running and make sure they tune accordingly.

With that said, I would NEVER do anything above intake, BB charger, exhaust and a chip with a PMR truck...too much risk involved.

... What risk? Dont mod it at all if your worried, how may forged rod motors are chucking at mild HP levels...

Those stage 2's tuned correctly will be just fine.
