Motor Build

Anyone did their own motor build and overhaul for High HP ?

how high ..killapapia had a great thread on his , vander chevy etc.

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.

There might be somebody on here but if your looking form that high of HP number I would check out PSA

2000 Ford F250 7.3 4x4. MODS: Beans Tunes, Jegs 4" exhaust, S&B intake, boost fooler, USA poted housing, RR billet wheel for ported housing, HFO, glowshifts 3-in-1 gauge pyro, boost, trans. AIH delete, bellowed uppipes, Sinister Diesel coolant filter.

Killapapias build plus crower rods, coated dished mahles, ati balancer, girdle.
Much more headwork port polished with hypermax valve setup, Headers....
Add bigger turbo, injectors and big oil..custom tunes and dyno time.

Really should look at powerstrok army site once your 600.
Knowledge pool of been there done that is larger.

But basically money ..money and more money.

But if you can find specs on thuglikes truck iirc it lived quite some time at 658plus.
Marty was above six hundred as well.

I tried to build my own engine back in 09. I thought i knew ENOUGH, turns out i knew a "good bit", but lacked attention to detail in areas i didnt knew there was something important i was missing. I could have dropped all my parts off at a shop that does it for a living and been well ahead in time and money if i let them do it right the first time. But on the other hand it was a good learning experience, but very expensive. Let someone else do it.
