Whats the best balljoints to use that last the longest with the dana 60 and 7.3? Mostly driving city and highway driving with a bit of calm offroad use.Im looking to get atleast a hundred thousand miles out of this set.

What chu talking bout Willis? 4wd f350's use Dana 60 high pinion front axles as do the 2002 and newer (may be off a year) f250s. 2005 and newer f450 and f550 use what is refered to as a super 60. Bigger knuckles, axle joints and ring/ pinion.

To the op, ford or Moog are fine for what you need. If you deep pockets you could always spring for dynatracs.

No sir f250s do but 350s use 60s. Got one sitting in the garage here. As the obs ones become harder to find our gen 350 axles are becoming popular in the Offroad world for buggys.

Re: Best balljoints to use....

Yes its a dana 60 as all 2002 to 2004 trucks are. 2005 and up went to a super 60 and most single rear wheel trucks in 99 to 2001 have a dana 50. Most earlier duallies had the dana 60 but all 02 and up to 2004 single or duallies have a dana 60 front end. Dynatracs would be great if I had that deep pocket but Its a toss up between the oem greaseables or moogs.

Let me ask you this, how many miles are on the truck? Have they been changed before?
