wondering if anyone can post pictures of who they set up their 6637 diy filter setup. I'm looking at making one and just need something to go off.

Do a search for "DIY Tymar" on this site and others, you'll get plenty of pictures.

Re: 6637

If you want a DIY as easy as it gets just order RiffRaffs kit. The few pennys you save in rounding up parts will cost you way to much time running around.

02 F350 CC DRW 4X4.
PHP Hydra with Gearhead, PHP, and NLTD tunes. AIRAID INTAKE, 4" exhaust.
CTS INSIGHT w/ egt, coolant and boost sensors.
FULL FORCE 160/30'S.
RIFFRAFF Hrx & Frx.
Leveling kit, 285's
Van turbo/ 38r hybrid.

Re: 6637

I just installed my filter last weekend. I bought the Donaldson B085011 and a 4-1/2" hose clamp. I installed a 4" turbo back at the same time which I installed a tip on. This required me to cut some of the tail pipe off. I used a 3" long piece of the 4" exhaust pipe to connect the filter. I ended up removing some of the lower half of the stock airbox to help fit the filter. Painted the pipe black and here it is.

Re: 6637

I have the riffraff kit with the sock and it works great and took a half hr to install. Most of the time was cutting the stock airbox pieces out of the way for the filter to fit without rubbing anything.
