glowshift gauge remarks

Hey guys I saw a glowshift gauge kit on Amazon it includes the 3 pod pillar mount, boost gauge, trans temp gauge, and pyro gauge. Includes all hardware and sensors and its $200.

What's your thoughts on glow shift gauges? I have trans problems and need to replace it andccan't afford isspro right now cuz I'll leave myself short for the trans. So do glow shift gauges read accurately and last?

Re: glowshift gauge remarks

I have them, not a fan of Disco Shift as they are called. Buy a egt gauge from Isso or Autometer and the Torque app for an Android ph $20. See thread on the Torque app. Egt should go in drivers side exhaust manifold at elbow.

Re: glowshift gauge remarks

I owned a glowshift 3 in 1 guage for about 1.5 years. as far as the reading and pretty factor they are awesome. Price is good too, however you can feel that they arent asw toughly made as the other brands. they feel cheapish..but by no means does that make them bad. For the price point they are right on the money

They are not too bad for being cheap Chinese crap. I will say this, their customer service is very good. I have the 3-1 and its ok I guess.

Re: glowshift gauge remarks

isspro is my favorite from quality, accuracy ,looks etc.
you will pay for that. (but only once)
glow shift is a good entry level set that is cheap to buy and should last until you need a change. Also have a look at the scan guage too.. I believe it to have more functions then the torq ap but less then AE.

Re: glowshift gauge remarks

I put glowshifts in last weekend. They all are working. I don't use my truck daily (weekends and camping) so it was hard to justify spending the extra money. Hopefully they will hold up for me.

they're junk but because they're so cheap they'll send you as many as it takes to get some that work
