7.3 ugrades?

I am looking at a couple kits to add to my truck and need reviews on them. Looking into coolant filtration system, hot start coolant heater, oil filtration system, hot start oil heater and fuel return system. Wanting to get as much life out of my truck as possible. Let me know any pros and cons with any of these mods. Or if you know of something better let me know.

Uh...ok.
* First is a solid air flow and 4" turbo back exhaust.
*Run synthic oil (5w40 is what many run) in winter. Summer would be bettter but def helps in winter.
*solid oil filter I use Motorcraft or Purolator PureOne and running 7-20k oil tests good(filter changed every 7k).
*I have seen a 1 mpg increase in my last two trucks with Amsoil in diffs, transfer case, power steering, and transmission.
* Coolant filtration will help.

06' F250 Harley Davidson Edition(Factory 2.5" lift)CCSB-blue sping kit, ARP, gaskets up, Driven Diesel Coolant Return, Sinister Diesel Coolant filter, Rotella ELC, SCT X4, 55gal Aluminum Fuel tank, B & W turnover. ...Hauling New RV's daily.

I have k&n air filter and 5" exhaust. I run synthetic oil and k&n filter. I change mine every 5k. And I have am soil in my differentials sand transfer case. So was wondering what would help the longetivity of my truck.

Re: 7.3 ugrades?

Get a ford ais intake, frx, hutch mod, 6.0 tranny cooler if you have an auto, good oil and change it regularly.

Re: 7.3 ugrades?

If I had the budget I would do the dieselsite coolant filter kit.
an oil bypass filter system system..i like fs2500, but I hear oil guard is good as well.

not sure about the hot starts system..where do you live ..ie Alaska?
there is a built in heater that takes care of most needs..

if anything I would look at an oil prelube kit such as Engine Pre Lube System Insta-Lube Kit Installation

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.

Re: 7.3 ugrades?

Bypass isn't as effective in our engines due to how bad our oil shears. Waste of money IMO, the hot start things are a waste IMO as well

Re: 7.3 ugrades?

First thing is ditch that k&n quickly youll thank yourself and the stock airbox ditch with the k&n and get a good aftermarket set up. The stock air boxes are junk too and dont seal properly.

Re: 7.3 ugrades?

I run a 6637 kit on mine and works great and it was $80.00 and got rid of the stock airbox and filter all together.
