What is the best chip for hauling?

ive heard many different things when it comes to chips... but the people who tried to help, none of them have a diesel. this is the main reason im on this site so much. to try and learn... and throw my two sence out there and rattle some cages! but back to the subject. my truck is bone stock... 97 7.3 powerstroke dually, i haul a 53 foot 3-4 car trailer all over the country. normally around 18k-20k being pulled around. what should i do to improve my capabilities? ive heard motor work, chip/tuners, trans kit.... i just dont wanna kill it. plus moneys slightly tight right now, so i dont wanna get in over my head by doing one thing but having to do something else so it would have an effect. if that makes any sence. any ideas would be awsome guys and thank you ahead of time for any help or sugestions. sorry for the novel!

If money's tight and you don't want to risk hurting it, leave it stock.

For OBS I think Wildman is a great guy. Mattr66, Swamps & Powerhungery know their stuff too.

In that case, Gare's advice might be great, as well as Swamps. They're OUTSTANDING tuners there!!!
