Nitrous?

Hey guys was looking into getting a nitrous kit and I was wondering what is needed mod wise to support the use of nitrous ARP head studs will be installed if I decied to get a kit

Valve springs and pushrods. Maybe an aftermarket waste gate actuator

You shouldn't need nitrous with stage 2's and 38r, I doubt you gain much.

i gained roughly 100rwhp with a single .125 shot on a stock injector truck. i wouldn't play down nitrous effects as not gaining much...

as said before headstuds, springs, even a bigger waste gate would be something to look into

1996 crew cab long box. 3.73s, auto 493/1135 stockish auto trans.

go ask that question on power stroke army web site...more guys use nitros there and can give you 100% answers and kit recommendations etc..

just don't reenact any of dockboy's results.

ok thanks guys I still have smoke that im tryng to clean up still looking of leaks of course first but was just dreaming I figured it would be cool to get up too 600 hp with a shot of nitrous after adding some hybrids of course

Well I noticed its a 2000. I'ld check what rods you had in that thing first and also look at hpop. Stage 2s and 38r I would think you would already be over the 300 mark. Your talking about double horses, gonna need to change that turbo most likely also.

4" lift and PMF traction bar/block setup running 35s on 20x12s. Intake, exhaust, PHP Hydra w/ Gearhead tunes, gauges
2005 F-350 CCLB 6.0L
6" lift on 20x10s and 37s, studded, deleted, Powermax and Livewire with Quicktricks tunes, exhaust, intake (Wife's Truck)
