Best investment you will make is a php hydra chip. Yes its 425. But for that money you get access to all of bills lightly modded tunes. You can run anyone's tunes on his chip with out sending your chip in. Once you start adding power you won't stop. Its an addiction. Invest wisely and plan for the future.

02 F350 CC DRW 4X4.
PHP Hydra with Gearhead, PHP, and NLTD tunes. AIRAID INTAKE, 4" exhaust.
CTS INSIGHT w/ egt, coolant and boost sensors.
FULL FORCE 160/30'S.
RIFFRAFF Hrx & Frx.
Leveling kit, 285's
Van turbo/ 38r hybrid.

I would invest in gauges before I got a chip

This is wise, with just about any vehicle tbh. Keep an eye on the important vitals now, you'll have a baseline for when you start modding.

You'll know when something is wrong or about to go wrong.

X2....gauges, intake and exhaust basic mods to do before adding a chip.
I'd look at TW..

We carry all, PM if I can help.

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Dealer for: Full Force, Tymar, BTS, Icon, Pure Performance, TW tunes, just to name a few.

baseline would be nice.
but light tunes (ts tunes on a stock truck) and light loads require zero use of gauges...lol

I have an extra chip that is suppose to be e99 ts tunes..i have never used it I keep it with my old pcm just in case.

with just basic mods the ts chip will give you a happy jump in power...mine has left me smiling for years.
But the tranny shifting could use some improvement on my truck..i am running nvk tunes on a pmt so not quit ideal.

you could contact some tuners and see how much a reburn is .
might be best of both worlds..
get custom tunes on a a used chip for the same price as a ts chip
...all depends on the cost of a reburn.

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.

Re: what kinda chip is the best for the price

My php Phoenix just shipped to my house today so we will see if my neighbor has time to help me install the chip and gauges. If not tonight hopefully this week. In all my reading and for my wants the Phoenix fit best.

01 f250CCSB, 285/75/16 GY duratracs, 4 inch diamond eye straight pipe, riff raff 6637, php Phoenix chip, isspro EGT gauge and torque app.
