Headlight Replacments?

I current have a 2006 headlight in my E-99 and i tried to install the murimoto minis in the factory housing. Well it didn't go so well and i cracked a housing. My question is....Is there any headlight replacement housing out there that i can still use my HID bulbs that i purchased? I want to be able to have projectors for my HID's cause thats the only way HID's work in any housing.

^ What he said, I'm a bit confused.

Could you possibly post a couple pics as well? It'll be easier to give an opinion on what to do that way. Also, you should check out HIDPlanet. It's a forum for HIDs (where I got info when I did my retrofits). There are quite a few very knowledgeable people there.

Re: Headlight Replacments?

Something broke internally and now have no vertical adjustment. The projector and the inside reflective part of the headlight is aimed towards the ground.

Re: Headlight Replacments?

Do the stock adjustment screws for the headlight housing still work? If they do, you could use some JB Weld to hold the projector in place. I'd start with a couple spots of the quick version (that way you know it's aimed where you want), and then finish it off with a layer of the regular JB Weld.

Re: Headlight Replacments?

Well i think im just going to replace both headlight assemblies. One is not repairable so i want to replace both with an assembly that is better then the factory ones. Who makes them and who is the best.?

Re: Headlight Replacments?

I'm confused as to what this has to do with 7.3 aftermarket and performance? How much faster will these headlights make your 7.3 diesel? What kind of boost levels will the headlights make?

You really got a hard on for asking that in this forum, don't you. I believe it's also for aftermarket parts. That includes HID's, no?
