Parts needed for OBS Intercooler

Hey was wondering if anyone had the 3" intakes that bolt to the head for a intercooler setup? I'm pretty sure I need to swap mine for the newer ones, cause mine are only 2". Thanks!!

Re: Parts needed for OBS Intercooler

You could always just get a reducer boot so you do not have to take the manifolds off.
What Intercooler kit are just what are you using for a Intercooler??

Re: Parts needed for OBS Intercooler

I have everything but the boots so far. I'm using a 7.3 intercooler and spider from a super duty. I think its from a 2000. Thanks for the help!

I'll buy your stock ones. Do you want to do Paypal?

Re: Parts needed for OBS Intercooler

what im getting at is the late 99+ spider will not fit the obs turbo. are you doing a SD turbo swap? hacking apart the spider to run 3" plenums? whats your plan?

Re: Parts needed for OBS Intercooler

O ok. I was told the spider was the same for all 7.3's by the ford dealer. I didn't start on it yet. I have just the stock obs turbo. I'll check out the spider I have when I get home then. Thanks for the heads up

the early 99 spider will fit the obs turbo. that is what you need to get your hands on.
