Is a chip right for me?

I have been reading up on ts chips for awhile now and I am wondering would a chip be beneficial to me with my truck. I have a 1995 f 250 with stock injectors. The only mods I have on my truck are 3 inch down pipe, Electric fuel swap I also did the 6637 air filter mod, and solid axle up front. I rarely tow with my truck but when I do its a utility trailer and occasionally a truck or car for work. I do 70% of my driving in town. Would I see any benefits in getting a chip for my truck with what I use it for?

Re: Is a chip right for me?

1. this is in the wrong section

2. being that it is in the wrong section gives you the option to look at the first post labaled "newbies looking for more power" that should give you all the answers you seek.

3. yes a CUSTOM tuned chip will give you noticable gains

Re: Is a chip right for me?

This is the section for 99-03 aftermarket and performance, there is a 94-97 section for people like you. A chip will increase driveability, but you can't expect a huge power gain when you only have 90cc of fuel
