overdive light flashing... pls help

yesterday i was messing with my esof relays because i have been having issues with my 4x4 egaging, well i did something and i blew the #16 30amp fuse for the esof. I didnt have one to replace it so i took one out of the #17 ( trailer tow battery charge) spot and put it in the esof spot. i ran out of light outside and i put everything back together. not thinking about it, i drove it to work, on my way home my overdrive light started flashing. its shifts fine and overdrive works like normal, so i put a new fuse in the # 17 spot and it still is flashing. with me driving it without that fuse, will it throw a code, and if so how do i clear it? 2000 f-250, 7.3l, 142000 miles

Pull your cables off your batteries and it will reset the computer. If it shows back up pull codes with a scanner.

AE or any tuner with a scan gauge. The autozone specials will not.

DON'T DRIVE IT!!!!! several internal trans things could be wrong. Been there.......uh replaced trans. $$$$€ not listening to light. Friend kept.plowing on his one night......new trans for him now also.

And replace your trailer charge fuse....it should be a blue box 20 amp fuse, NOT a 30 amp. Owners manual list everything starting on like page 195.

You haven't driven in a lot of water lately have you? check the wires under the truck, there is a harness run along side the trans on the drivers side. Seen a lot of trucks where the wires have frayed and have issues like you're describing. you just replace the harness at the frayed wires and use waterproof heat shrink butt connectors.
