Remove chip help

Hey guys. I've been trying to find out how to remove the chip that came in my truck when I bought it. The gauge monitor is a quadzilla monitor and it tells me oil temp boost and trans temp and egt is not hooked up. I would imagine the chip would be the same. It's a six position chip but I've never taken one out or put one in or seen one before so idk how to do this. I have an 02 f250. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Re: Remove chip help

make sure the keys ore NOT in the ign. or you will very possibly toast your pcm

Look under the dash behind the emergency brake.. you should see a 1/4" wire coming out of a hole in the pcm (silver box with a black plastic cover) give the wire a gentle tug. the chip should come out with it

Re: Remove chip help

Should I have the chip set to stock or does it not matter?
