I have 250/100 injectors with a modded 66 H2E im putting in this week, so probably around 550 hp? I already took the tranny out and dropped it off, I was wondering if Im going to need a billet intermediate shaft??? I already have a triple disk billet converter and billet input going in. Plan on drag racing and hauling some, but no sled pulling.
a buddy of mine snap his like a twig with the exact same set up i have 238cc/100 and a modded h2e and i havent broke mine yet!! but iv never boost launched or draged mine so idk i think it depends on how you drive it. my buddy snapped his going down the rd and laying into it. hes on here his name is dieselmandustin
i have ran both walbro 392 and dual sd pumps both work but the dual sd pumps have proven me to be more reliable i ran my walbro for about a year and it took a dump on me stay away from air dog 2 the dont last long at all. i also know a guy that is runnin a walbro who has had it for 5 years with no problems. also make sure you do some kind of in tank mods or no matter what pump you use you wont be able to get enough fuel from the tank if you dont do a sump or a bigger pickup just do the harpoon and the hutch mod
Guzzles 7.3 page will show you hutch and harpoon mods.. one is free your just cutting a tube shorter...the other is a modified fuel pickup..which ditches the big oem for a larger draw straw so you will want a ore oump filter too...dennis has a good kit.
