Re: right walbro pump??

Yes,you ordered the right pump. Its been awhile since Ive installed mine. The end toward the front of the truck will hook right up without any modifications. The factory rubber fuel line on the other end isnt big enough. So you have to pull that line off and go to auto parts store and buy I think 3/8" fuel line, about 10" of line.Make sure you buy fuel injection line and not regular fuel line because of the pressure. Also install hose clamps to keep the line on.Im not 100% on the 3/8" line but if you bought the install kit with the pump, the instructions will tell you what size the barbed fitting is.You have to run a regulator with that pump or you will have issues with way too much fuel pressure. You cannot just run that pump without being able to turn fuel pressure down.

Yes, it is the right pump. I have an Air Dog so the rear of my pump needed the following fittings. Been a while so I can't remember what all I did. Here is a thread with some fittings and a picture of mine installed.

Re: right walbro pump??

Just lost my third Walbro in 4 years... As cheap as they are, I'm growing tired of replacing them.

Going to remove it and just run two stockers again, my factory pump with 200k on it is still in there working, just cant maintain the pressure.

My first one lasted for 40k... When it quit I figured ok, it just quit. Second one quit shortly after, about 10k or so, my pick up foot was plugged with crap so I figured...

This one is about 20k old, but has a 5/8" pickup to a 10mic water separator but its got a buddy, both outlets are being sucked on by a factory pump and a walbro.

Walbros deader then ####.

Just doesn't make sense anymore with the Boush pumps being $150 or so now.
