Stage I performance

After installing Stage I sticks, what kind of performance (SOTP) will i notice? I know I should be around 350Hp. But will it feel like going from stock to a chip? Or will it only feel like a slight gain? I am debating between these and Stage II's. Mods are in sig and for future mods I'm going with a walbro, reg return, 6.0 intercooler, and over boost. I use my truck for little hauling and but mainly DD and "mud" racing. Just trying to decide if I'd be happy with the Stage I's.

Re: Stage I performance

With your signature wanting about 425 HP, go hybrids and save for a turbo like a GTP38R. That would be the most efficient way to go.

Re: Stage I performance

$h!t...forgot to change sig. here's the deal, i'm being allotted $1500 in feb for the truck. i'm trying to decide if i should do stage II's or do stage I's, walbro, and 6.0 Intercooler. hybrids might be on the menu if i can find a set in the classifieds.

Re: Stage I performance

I second hybrids.... a 238cc with a 30% nozzle will walk all over those stage 2s and allow you to not have to upgrade your HPOP to get full performance. If you want to turn the wick up to 400+HP get the 80% or 100% nozzle. You won't be disappointed...

Re: Stage I performance

The only thing about hybrids is that I don't want to run them with the mods (or lack there of) in my sig. But I 3rd hybrids, just don't know if I can afford them. I guess if I can find a set in my price range I'll get 'em. But if not I'm still curious about the stage I's.
