Scangauge- not working

- I hooked up my scangauge
- I selected "boost" and "ICP DC" on the setup menu

Now all the gauge wiil do is power up , then give me a message saying "annunciator not working" then shuts off immediately.

I cant hit both buttons to enter setup mode or anything

Powers up - then turns right off....

Is there something wrong with this thing or what?

Re: Scangauge- not working

Check your fuses? Also, find another PSD to try it on. If the problem is the same, you may need to return it for repair.

Re: Scangauge- not working

On mine, there's a white (I believe)wire going into the plug that goes into the back of the gauge. The pin on that wire seems to want to pull out of the plug, and it does the exact same thing. Might check to see if all of the wires are firmly in the plug...

Mine had that problem, I had to send it back to have them fix it. I don't know what they did to it, but I got it back and it worked perfectly.

Re: Scangauge- not working

Well...... I checked both connections and they weren't the cause.

I tried it in my F450 as well...and it did the exact same thing.

So, I guess that means there is something wrong with the gauge?
I looked all over their website, and cant find any mention about the error message Im getting or my situation.

Was it new when it had this problem?
How did you get ahold of them? There is no phone number anywhere on their website......
Daaam...you had to wait while they fixed it?
Looks like it'll be quite a while before I get to use mine then.....

Im gonna keep it out of the truck for now so at least its not in my face as a constant reminder that it doesnt work.

Re: Scangauge- not working

I had a different problem with my gauge. But, I can tell you that the customer service was excellent. I had it back within the same week. I am in NY and they are in OH. Just email them and they will respond pretty quick. I really like the gauge.

Re: Scangauge- not working

Mine was brand new out of the box and did the same thing.
I emailed them, and they were very quickly to respond to my email. It took about a week from the time I shipped it until I got it back in my hands.

Email them with the description of your problem. They will respond back with a shipping address. It's that simple!
