what would be the best outlook monitor for me?

I keep hearing about pyro and egts and the other harmful things that can cause a diesel to sent to a early grave! I have done the basics to my truck already but before I start getting in too deep I want to be able to monitor all of my trucks stats can I get a little advice?

Re: what would be the best outlook monitor for me?

I went with the diprocol gauges. Being on a budget so to speak Im doing them one at a time. Ive got the boost and pyro right now and will be adding the fuel pressure and trans temp next.

The pyro is probably the most important because if your exhaust temps are in the safe zone you can push the truck as hard as your want basically.

The boost gauge lets you know your turbo's health and if you have leaks anywhere.

Everyone has a particular gauge brand they are a fan of. I like the diprocol because they look factory and the needles dont bounce like some gauges do.

Also I prefer the pyro that uses the probe that you drill into the exhaust manifold since its not going to leak like the band clamp type can do.

That would work, but I like the individual gauges myself for 2 reasons. They are showing you everything at one time and the second reason is if one gauge fails the others are still working. The bullydog goes out, your back to square one money wise.

that sounds good how difficult is it to install them I believe that the pillar one with the 3 gauge set up looks the best?

Re: what would be the best outlook monitor for me?

Mine is a 4 gauge pod above the rear view mirror. Im pretty short and the pillars are thick enough without adding something that makes it harder to see out

Heres how mine are done. I only have 2 of the holes filled so far.
