Just some input please

Ok so the other day I decided to go fishing, well the spot I wanted to get to was on the other side of a not so big mud hole. I drove 90% of the way through the hole and at the exit where my truck started to angle out my rear end bottomed out. Locked in 4wd and the rear tires were off the ground, so I was turning the front tires back and forth trying to get traction and after a min or so I hooked up and drove right out. I say all that to say this. After getting back on the street I noticed that my steering wheel wouldn't center and that it was pulling pretty good to the right side, also when I turn to correct the pull to the right, the tucks seems to float and not wanna stay straight. I'm trying to figure out if its ball joints or just alignment, or what. Any advice or opinions. Thanks

Re: Just some input please

IMHO Why bother guessing

step 1: remove the mud
step 2: take it to the alignment shop
step 3: fix whatever they say has to be fixed before they can align it
step 4: take it back to the alignment shop

Re: Just some input please

I checked the hubs, I thought that's what it was at first. I'm just gonna do ball joints and have it aligned I think.

Re: Just some input please

Check the tire pressure in both tires first.
have the truck movie in about 15 miles per hour and then try to engage you transfer case very slowly. If the transfer case engagesvery into 4e wheel drive without making a grinding noise then one of your lock-outs is still engaged. I have had my stick and not disengage internally.

Az stated above by another poster wash all mine out of the wheel. You may have lost a wheel weight also which can cause this.

Re: Just some input please

If the center was high in the mud hole, you may have caught your cross tube. Check it to make sure it is still strait.
