body compatibility?

im new to this forum I like the fact that its strictly ford!i also belong to a couple other forums that I wont mention.. not sure if that's proper protocol?? but I see this one being my new home!!! im not sure if I can ask questions unrelated to the drive train? like about the body of these trucks for example??? so here goes can someone tell me the compatibility of body parts between years of 2002 and 2012???????

welcome to the forum. Scroll down the page some you'll see a thread about putting 2012 Park on earlier truck.

It can be done but takes some grinding welds etc..mainly aa big knotch in the tip of the frame for the new bumper.

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.

kinda confused? about the scrolling down of the page and seeing something about a park on a truck? my main inquiries are can I put 2010 mirrors on my 02 and can I put a new tailgate w the step on the rim on my 02

Both of these topics are covered on here pretty well. I will give you the quick answer anyway.
Mirrors: Yes, they will bolt right up. You will need to do some wiring to get them to work.
Tailgate: Yes, it will drop right into place. You will need to change out the driver's side pivot point first. It should be around $10 from the dealer. ( 4L3Z83430B39AA )

welcome and you can ask any question you want. look on the home page for the area you want info in and if you dont see a thread on it then ask away. drivetrain body aftermarket performance engine swaps you name it its here. theres even a smack talk section. keep your eyes peeled and enjoy

I thought by body parts you ment fenders grill etc..
