I had Jody program my chip to lock it at 25 mph and it stays that way. When and at what speed depends on what you want it to do.

I use my TC lock up all day long. It is nice to have it stay locked when I am slowing down while towing since when I hit my brakes it unlocks unless I have it engaged.

That's right, it can be used as a brake. Or as Engine to transmission 1 to 1 efficient power. Generally, gear 1 is too slow and will lug the engine at low speed. While it does the same thing as a manual clutch disc, it's a hydraulic coupling combined with a clutch. Much heaiver mass with the fluid weight, and behaves different than a dry clutch.

Co pilot is electronic and should unlock by itself. If your using a manual switch let speed and engine performance be your guide. Any low speed or load that lugs with the TCC applied is too slow. Enjoy it, the engine will always tell you.
