38R numbers

Anyone know what a 38R will flow in lbs/min? It's a 64mm comp right?

Re: 38R numbers

garrett's map shows them at about 48-50lbs at peak efficiency, at 20 or so lbs of boost.

Re: 38R numbers

I'm not sure, thats why I'm asking. Would just like some specs on it, flow is more important than size. I'd like to know a peak flow in lbs/min or cfm

Re: 38R numbers

Peak flow at the most efficient part on the compressor map is at 48-50lbs/min at around 20lbs of boost. If you spin the hell out of it it will reach close to 70lbs/min but the efficiency drops off to around 60%.

They are 66 mm, or a 2.6 class turbo.
