140 TUNE AS DAILY DRIVER

Is it safe to run this tune all the time? I definitely prefer to drive in the 140 over anything else, but dont want to cut my engines life short. On cold mornings I start and run in lower settings until full temp and then switch it up.

Any info on timing or other factors as have been talked about lately on the 80e?

Don't drive it like you stole it, and it should be fine.

Yes it is... Control your speed and EGT's with your right foot. I start and warm up mine in the stock or 80 setting then go from there.

the switched should be used like a light switch all the way up or all the way down, its not a dimmer, haha

I NEVER take mine out of 140A unless I get on the highway for a long distance.

The ONLY and one and ONLY time I have seen his truck in anything less than 140A was last year going to bowling green....except when he lugged it going up the mountains.

Re: 140 TUNE AS DAILY DRIVER

Hell I get good mileage on my high settings (as long as I'm driving like a sane person)

The work trucks are always on the 100 hp setting.

Re: 140 TUNE AS DAILY DRIVER

Mine is too touchy to run in the 140 tune in town.

Back to stock for now.
