tranny temp gauge

my truck had the 3 pod pillar set up in it when i bought it and it has a tranny gauge in the pod but not hooked up my truck is a 6 speed can you hook it up and if so where
jacked up powerstroke is offline

You can hook it up to anything that you want to check oil temps on. With a switch you can look at two things (or three with a three pole switch but thats a pain)...

Never looked at one close enough for a port, so I cant help there.

I would put it in the PTO cover, just make sure its not going to be into any gears when you put the cover back on.

I installed one in a buddies 6-spd. Got a pto cover from ITP Diesel that was already set-up for the trans sender.
