Best Trac Bars for the money?

I need some trac bars for my truck bad. What are the best ones for the money? I am still thinking about making homemade slapper bars like what I have seen on one Powerstroke and the owner said they work great and cost almost nothing to make. Any of you out there with trac bars or ladder bars chime in on this and tell me which ones you like and where I can buy them. Remember I still use my truck as an everyday driver so I dont want a set that is going to make my truck ride like chit. Thanks for the input.

Caltracs are cheap and work. If you want cheaper then that though you'll probably have to make your own.

Re: Best Trac Bars for the money?

I run the Fab-Tech bars and love em.

SUPER DUTY
FLOATING TRACTION BARS
These bolt on Traction Bars reduce rear leaf spring axle wrap caused by lift blocks and oversized tires. Typically the travel cycle of the Super Duty rear axle is in an arch, rather than a linear motion found in most other trucks. Fabtech’s exclusive traction bar shackle system allows the bars to float with the arched travel of the rear axle. This provides a non-binding, smooth highway ride but still provides positive resistance to torque loads, reducing leaf spring wrap and increasing tire traction.

Since you have a short bed, One Up Offroad weld on fixed bars:

Due to their bushing design they don't hinder ride quality and they don't make noise.

What he said, best bar for the money period.
There are cheaper bars but none better.
The one up bars allow you to have your cake and eat it too
