dyno'd truck HELP

Well dyno'd the 7.3 today and I'm alittle upset and trying to figure out what might be wrong.

mods: TN j/b drop in turbo/ spearco 6.0 intercooler/ stg 2 single shot injectors 176/176 -tuning for injectors- intake/ boost annialator/ 3.5 exhaust(banks)

Tow tune- 301/ 622
race - 336/687
drag- 339/ 726

with out the injectors I would dyno 300/ 625 with dp tunes

There are a couple of things that concern me-
-boost gauge jumpy around 28-30 psi
-after adding boost annialator truck doesn't seem to fuel as hard(might need to adjust till CEL comes on and then back down)
- truck is an early '00 so probably 15* pump -so could benifit from 17* pump or better - maybe pump is getting old/worn

I was told I should see 380-390........
Thanks for the help,
Joel

Re: dyno'd truck HELP

my truck was built 3/00 and has a 17*...they did away with the 15* after the early 99. late 99s had a 17*. I dont think that is your problem.

Have you checked for boost/exhaust leaks pre turbo? Do you have any way to view ICP/IPR data while driving? What are your EGTS @ WOT like? Do you still have the stock fuel pump? Whose overboost annihilator are you using?

IMO something in my gut is telling me that TN may be to blame

Re: dyno'd truck HELP

i dyno'd 331 and 351 with garrett bb and swamps 175's .. doubt its the turbo. if it was over 400 that is where the difference in turbo would begin to show. its probaly oil.

no. the crap tn units, if they are crap, blow up. if not they move more than enough air to support 400hp. im willing to bet this has nothing to do with turbo.

Re: dyno'd truck HELP

i didnt say it was the turbo i said it was a possibility. hence why i asked him if he could view ICP/IPR data while driving.

Re: dyno'd truck HELP

i think you have a weak 17 degree oil pump.....that turbo should be able to support 400hp.

Re: dyno'd truck HELP

Something seems alittle funny, Mine did 362 with 175/146s from swamps and a van turbo.
