Installed the HID's

I couldn't find the other thread so I started another.

Just wanted to say they install easy as hell, and MAN do they look sweet.

The most crisp and clean that light has ever looked leaving a vehicle of mine, lol. My truck's resale goes up at least 1000 dollars with the lights on vs with them off.

BTW, I used the retro-solutions kit.

Yep...I have the retro-solutions kit on both trucks now. The kits are good quality and the light is great!

HIDs piss me off (oncoming traffic).

Rant off.

Glad you like your headlights.

These actually work though. They have excellent cutoff. The light does not go above my hood in low beam mode when shining at the wall in the warehouse where I installed them. I would say, just guessing, that the light was probably about a foot or so below the headlight level with the wall about 20 feet in front of the truck.

The height difference between low and high is very dramatic.

I don't think they will be in the eyes of oncoming traffic.

Also, I used the 5000's. Color looks perfect. Crisp and clean but not weird looking, and not blue looking.

Re: Installed the HID's

Main thing with them is aiming. Especially with the retro ones like you mentioned, the cut off point is very well defined. So if aimed right they blind no one. Excellent product.
