Singles on Split program, safe or not.

I have a need to drive my truck and I am waiting on my chip to come back for my new Hybrids, It idles like crap but runs decent off Idle. Is it harmfull in any way to operate it with the stock programming.

Nah you can run it. I ran mine for weeks on end (like 3 weeks) when I was having serious tuning issues when I switched to my stage 2 singles. It will idle like crap and you'll hate driving it, but you wont hurt anything.

I drove mine for about 3 days while waiting on my new chip too. I kept spilling my beer it was running so rough.

I am currently doing it. But my truck is an odd ball and actually runs pretty decent on stock programming

Re: Singles on Split program, safe or not.

I just replaced a set of NEW nozzles on a set of low miles Stage-2's I did that the guy ran without conversion programming (I was told) and heated them up so bad all 8 injector bottoms are now permanently blue. One nozzle split in half from the heat, so we replaced them all.

I'd be careful...
