I have a single 5" mitre cut that was initally about 4 inches above the cab and is now about 6 inches below the cab.
I love the way it looks low like that but it's covering the whole back window in soot. Also everytime it rains or gets washed it blows soot all over the bed. After pulling season I am contemplating going back to a standard exhaust or installing a bull hauler style single pointed straight back, or maybe an aussie. IDK...
What do ya'll think?

Soot spots with an uncovered stack will always be a problem. If water gets into the stack you are going to spew soot water. The curved or Aussie cut stack is going to direct that away from your window but the back of the bed will still get hammered.
Just put it at about cab height and put the old redneck flapper on it!
