, the old pos chips us poor-asses still use are less than 200 bucks brand new and they even come with the crappy old rotary switches.
For someone budjet minded, I don't see how that wouldn't be appealing.
I have been running the same chip for 6 or 7 years now. Although I did have to replace the switch a few months ago. It was 25 bucks. Pricey, I know.
And the rotary switch, gives positive feedback on exactly where it is. Sorta like analog gauges vs. digital.
