zoodad?????

So as you can tell im new the the diesel world.... i see in alot of peoples sig.... about zoodad, can some one explain what it is and what it does? Thanks you guys

late 99 f350, guages, mbrp, cold air, SWAMPS 300/200 hybrids, gen 3, fuel lab, fuel regulator, gt42r and of course a ts tuner by swamps , currently broke

zoodad mod is where you open up the air intake behind the drivers side of the grill.just use a hole saw or some thing simular to open it up.well i don't know if it really helps maybe 25* cooler exhaust temps if that. but the mod is free and anything to help lower exhaust temps and help with a cooler intake charge.

For the late '99-'03 trucks it is cutting a hole in the header panel behind the grill for improved air flow to the air filter. You could probably do a search for it on here and see what it turns up.

hey thanks guys.... ill have to do that when i put my new headlights in this week..... That is if my warrenty company ever gives back my truck on that tranny rebuild!!!!!!!!!

kind of a thread snatch question
Anyone ever worry about sucking in to much water? or when washing the truck spraying it in?

would it help with a DIY tymar.... and can that beautiful 6637 filter fit into the stock air box? or does the air box have to be removed?

I haven't had any issues with water getting to my air filter. You have to remove the airbox to put on a 6637.
