not sure what my next mod should be

I'm building it more for pulling than racing

If i had a money tree I'd be all set, but i don't so the options are

option 1
stage 1 injectors, bigger fuel lines, bigger fuel pump, water/meth

if i go stage 2 I'll need heads studs, springs, are stage 1's worth it though?

option 2

bigger fuel lines, bigger fuel pump, water/meth, Detroit locker in the rear, traction bars

You don't really need head studs until stage III's. If you plan to pull I would go with some hybrids have have your tuner tune them to your needs. You have more fuel when you want it later.

Engine - Empire Diesel Performance

Air - Empire Diesel Performance Compounds Procharger Primary / Garrett 38R Secondary

Oil- Swamps Gen-3

Fuel - B-codes

You don't have to have studs/springs with Stage 2's. Put them in and be done. If you go too small you'll always regret it, and you can always tune down the bigger sticks like rr86 said.

Re: not sure what my next mod should be

i put my injectors in with a factory pump and used it that way for over a year pulling power was good but even with little stage ones the smoke was horrible egts were high, i purchased a stage 1 stealth and found a tune on my chip that puts icp at 3100 psi at 10% throttle, that made all the difference before i dyno'd at 363 hp w/o pump and i would bet that i have at least 35 more with the pump and no smoke lower egts and pulling my 24' race trailer at 10000 lbs it 100% better fuel consuption unloaded is averaged at 18.5 over the last 6 tanks and loaded is 12 mpg but i think i can get better when i get new tunes from wildman.

point being if i could go back in time i would have purchased good big oil tunes and a pump first.

just my 2 cents

I don't think stage I's or II's are even worth it... Hybrids all the way... :)
