Help Me Out Here

Ok I put some stage IIs in my truck the other day and it would not start after putting everything back together. It started to pour fuel out of the tail pipe so I figured that one of the injectors did now seat right. I took out all of the injectors checked the O rings and the copper ring and they were all good. I proceeded to put it all back together and it still wont start. Now my Batteries are dead from trying to start it so much. Got that sitting on a charger. I still spits out a little bit of fuel but I think it is just excess from the night beffore that was still in there. The truck refuses to fire and spits fuel out of the tail pipe still. What could the problem be? FYI I dont have a chip for single shots in it yet should be here today.

Re: Help Me Out Here

Pull out your glow plugs and crank it over. Make sure all the fuel is out of the cylinders, don't want a hydrolock. Check your oil, make sure there is no fuel in there "bet there is though", if so change it (fuel makes oil thin and won't lube anything".

Have not heard of this since Andrew did it.

Not comparing you to Andrew by any means.

Re: Help Me Out Here

I did both of those already. Everything was out of the cylinders and was turning freely. I checked the oil and it didnt smell like fuel was in it. HPOP reservoir is 1 inch from the top. I hooked it to a scanner and was not pulling any codes all the injectors got buzz tested and they were all fine. I dont know.

Re: Help Me Out Here

Just make sure everything is hooked up right. You probably just have a bunch of air in the lines. Hot batts, and patience.

Oh and please do have the video running if you see more fuel running out the tail pipe. Post it under Andrews name, we have been looking for that video.

Re: Help Me Out Here

Probably did not have an injector seated correctly.
