hx55

Has any one ever ran a 55? I was thinking of it for my new 2nd stage and I believe a wastegated housing is avaliable for it too which is a plus. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: hx55

House has one. It's similar in size to an H2E. It has a regular T4 or T6 flange.

Re: hx55

The 55 is a little bigger than an "stock" H2E. Depends on what housings you get as well. Most of the 50's and 55's you find cheap are spec'd for a mid-range engine so the turbine is probably gonna be bigger than you'd want for the high pressure turbo. You'd have to look at the exact specs for the one you are looking at.

Re: hx55

Thanks Ill have to find out the exact specs. If it means anything it a a 55w. I believe it was probably a mid-range specd turbo as it has the big t6 flanged housing on it.
