The secret to lowering fuel costs

I have not been on here in a while, mostly because I was busy discovering the secret to minimizing the fuel consumtion of my centurion. After weeks and weeks I finally found what works best...

I had low compression all around (most cylinders were around 315-350 and #6 was 200) and a nasty leak out of the front fuel port on the passenger side head, so while I was fixing the heads I figured I might as well do a shortblock while the motor was out.
I didn't do anything special to the motor besides headstuds since I'm not making huge power, but at least now she's sexy!
Whatcha think?

Re: The secret to lowering fuel costs

Looks awesome, what did you do to the motor besides head studs? Rebuild kit (pistons and rings etc)? Just curious because I'm going to freshen my motor up when I pull it.
