torque converter??????????

im having a tranny built through my warrenty and then paying a lil extra to have it up graded.... (cause im not rich and afford a bts ) so im wondering what convter to go with????? and any other suggestions would be helpful!!!! thanks guys

late 99 f350, guages, mbrp, cold air, SWAMPS 300/200 hybrids, gen 3, fuel lab, fuel regulator, gt42r and of course a ts tuner by swamps , currently broke

The best tq IMO would be the PI Stallion, it's what you get with a BTS(it's really nice!). Price is around 1100, so it's not cheap.

I love mine though.

You might want to try a RacerX tc, reasonably priced.

'95 Ford F-350, CC,4x4,SWAMPS 300/200Hybrids,H-11 Head studs,Comp 910 Springs,Chromemoly push rods,modded TE 17*, GARRETT GT40 TURBO,built trans with 3 disc billet convertor,SWAMPS 6 position chip,3"DP to 6" single, IDM Mod,Gauges,'02 SD IC,Electric Fuel system and bunch of other stuff.

I don't have any experience with it but it is quite a bit cheaper than a PI. But it seems that PI's have a great reputation along with BTS.

just a little grinding,and i think a 6.0 flywheel,and you can run the converter feom the new 6.4 motor.
it is already a tripple disk and fire brazed,and i believe its like 400.00 from ford.

I think the PI is a little much on a stock input shaft. That is just what my tranny builder told me. That is why I have a billet input.

i'm not pushin' monsterous power....but my Racer X TC has worked pretty good and i'm overall pretty happy with it
