Unhappy Fuel pump dying

My SX pump is on the way out. It drops 30 psi @ WOT. Not bad that it lasted 6 years and 75k. Who is running a Fuelab and how do you like it. What other choices do i have other than Aeromotive marine?

Re: Fuel pump dying

Aeromotive marine doesn't mean a thing. It's a standard A-1000 with black anodizing instead of red. You get a better warranty, not a better pump.

I run the fuelab. Works as advertised. And it's brushless. The only problem I ever had with the Aeromotive pump.

I wouldn't run anything else. Or it would be on my truck instead of the fuelab.

Re: Fuel pump dying

What model Fuelab pump are you running? Looking at the spec for the SX the smallest Fuelab is 25% more flow. What does the Aeromotive flow since it is rated in # per hour instead of GPH?

Re: Fuel pump dying

Run the 41402 pump at 50% speed and it will move ~50-60GPH.

And it's very efficient in that range. That's precisely what I run. The pump comes with a flow sheet taken before it was shipped. It is the flow from that pump, and you can see what it flows at any given pressure at full and 50% speeds.
