Is the SHO process worth it?

I have a set of big hybrids here with big nozzles, and im wondering if i should have them sent out (and flow matched!), gone through and SHO modded. Is it worth the ~$100 per injector. Ive been told that it increases performance in the upper RPM range, however since the forte of the powerstroke isnt really the "upper RPM range" (as of today), is it worth it? How soon are we from having electronics to really take advantage of the upper rpm range? TIA.

Speak for yourself about a PSD not working in the upper RPM range!

Yes I think the SHO is worth it, just one of a couple mods that every injector needs

Re: Is the SHO process worth it?

the sho mod with hybrids is absolutely awesome. but you better have some serious air to clean them up. my truck made about 725 rwhp with them, drove awesome, got great mileage. best injector i have ever owned. just not quite enough fuel for what i was trying to do.

Hmm, interesting. you were running BO i assume? Probably doesnt make sense to do the SHO mods without BO anyway.
