Is there a difference between early 99 and 99.5 + exhaust manifolds?

Re: Early 99 exhaust manifolds

I think the drivers side is different, and necessary for early 99 guys to change if they do a SD turbo conversion

maybe that would explain why I can't get my drivers side up pipe to seal to the manifold

Re: Early 99 exhaust manifolds

I did not have to change it when I changed over to the later stuff on my early 99

No the exhaust manifolds are not different on the early 99's. Been there done that, never took the exhaust manifolds off.

Re: Early 99 exhaust manifolds

I have some 96 versus late 99 manifolds that might be usefull to you. They are in the SD conversion sticky in 94-97 or in my album on here.

Re: Early 99 exhaust manifolds

There is about 1 inch differences in the early 1994 to 1999???? compared to the later models. The early ones are the longer ones and the part of the header that turns up behind the engine is where the extra length is.
