Exclamation tuner and exhast?

so i just got my first powerstroke and first thing is first i want to go to a 4''dp and 4-5 back no muffler ive read many times that a 4" is best but i have a 5" i can get for cheap from a friend of mine i just dont want to hurt performance any opinions and real life expeirience with a 5" and which turner would go well with the exhaust and still keep decent fuel economy??

Re: tuner and exhast?

5" won't hurt anything. Some say it has a better sound. Open up the intake as well with a Napa 6637 or some type of open intake.

Take your pick on custom tuners. They are all good.

Fuel economy rests in the use of your right foot.

Re: tuner and exhast?

That's good to hear on the exhaust should I put an aftermarket pedestal on there too?

No problem, just didn't know if that was what you meant by pedestal.
