old truck new engine

Hello i just want to know if i can put a newer DI 7.3 crate engine into a older truck with a IDI 7.3 ? Will everything bolt up ?

no..not as a drop in but anything is possible.
if you can put a 5.9 in a psd for example.

your superduty engine will be looking for a superduty pcm..speed sensors dash cluster, wire harness etc..
may have to be converted...

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.

would it be hard to convert it over ? Just for yayas how fast can you make a IDI ?

Quick google serch says idi has. Little power at wheels stock...some were around 100.
Adding a turbo kit via banks or ats put it up 50 or so with other mods.

There is an idi section on here that will be far better .
But I did see some mid 200 and. 350 rated truck....as well as a 800. And 1200 but didnt bother clicking those they will be 5.9 swaps or super modded. Because of the design idi run much lower boost too iirc .
