'08 Magnaflows on an '00

Well this posting got no replies in the general section, so I thought I would repost it here

I recently saw a '08 MagnaFlow exhaust system on display at 4WheelParts TruckFest. WOW What a beauty. I love the look of the twin tips exiting behind the right rear wheel.
Now the question is, has anybody confirmed or denied that the tail pipe hangers for the '08 are different that our earlier models?
Will those beauties fit my '00?
I fully understand about the DPF and crap, but if I can just swap the tail pipes to a turbo back kit- now that would be boss.

Thanks for any insight.

MrBill.

Basically, if any PSN sponsor that carries the Magnaflow line could lay out the tailpipes of the '08 dual tip system and then the '00 system side-by-side. Tell me if the mounting points are the same.

Thanks guys.

MrBill.

I will take a guess and say they aren't the same because the 08 has a different frame but I could be wrong.

You are right, but I think only the front of the frame was heavily modified.
If the box/bed can be swapped from an '08, the rear frame rails should be very similar!? Yes/no?

My buddy has this setup. Y'd into (2) 3.5" pipes both coming about behind the right-rear tire, and 2 black chrome 5" tips. Looks pretty sweet, lemme see if I have a pic somewhere.

This is a crappy shot, when they were in front of the rear tire. They are moved behind the rear tire. I'll get a better pic.

If you can swap the beds they should be close but another thing is aren't the 08 rear leaf springs longer that might factor into the mounting points.

Should be an easy problem to overcome with new hangers, if in fact they are needed right?
