some goodies

alright fellas I just purchased a 6 spd 99 7.3 powerstroke. It has a few things done to it but nothing major. Has a superchip, not sure what one exactly, and a hackjob of an exhaust. Just ordered a 4" mbrp exhaust and am looking at injectors, and either a chip or a tuner not sure wich one to go with yet. I do alot of hauling around livestock on the farm. Not really lookin for a rediculous amount of power just enough to do what I need it to do and to have some fun in. Eventually once i get her paid off i plan on to make it my pullin truck. Just sein what your opinions were on good tuners or chips and injectors.

Re: some goodies

Welcome.. i have pretty close to the same truck. Where are u located? I went with dp tuner after a few read threads and a high recommendation from a friend of mine who only deals with them. Good luck.

Re: some goodies

Its not as easy as throwin injectors and and you make hp. Stock turbo is out of its map quick. Figure out a hp goal and a budget and go from there.

Re: some goodies

im aware of that, my hp goal is about 450-500, and when it come to the budget it doesnt matter because i plan on doing it right the first time im not a big fan of cutting corners, i know i have to do supporting mods, this is my first diesel truck but not my first modded vehicle
