New tires

Ok so its time for some new tires to replace my destination a/t's and ive been reading a lot of reviews, most people are suggesting bfg all terrain ko or goodyear duratrac. Read a lot of reviews and most are good. but some are bad, im looking for a tire that does great in snow and mud but will last more than 40k miles. So let me hear some experienced reviews, thx.

Re: New tires

I like the bfg all terrain ko, they last a while come in load range e, and look great IMO. I usually get the 305/70/16 size and stick em on 16x10 rims. They look great with that setup! Last me about 45k but I'm not to hard on them and don't do burnouts or anything. After time thoug they do get hard and seem to be slick as heck on ice after 4 years or so of using them but the first 30 k or so they are sticky on the ice.

i tried a set of nitto terra grappler on my 98 ram. those tires were slick as snot on wet or slick roads. did not grip half as good as my new bfg ko. the procomp at do grip good though!

Re: New tires

I am on my second set of duratracs. I really like them. I have run BFG, Hankook and the Duratrac is by far my favorite.

Re: New tires

Toyo ATs wore well for me. They don't claw through snow well but did well on snowy roads.
