What should I buy next?

Alright guys need y'all's advice. I have a 2000 f250. The next thing I want to do for my truck is either buy a bigger turbo or bigger injectors. So what do y'all think! And any ideas about a size of turbo or brand of injectors would be nice

Re: What should I buy next?

How much do you think you're makin now? 3-4k aint much. You could do a 238/80 with a 38r and have some tunes put on that sct or get a chip. To run those injectors at full potential you'll need to increase your budget.

Re: What should I buy next?

If you want to make 400-450 238/80 or 160/100 with a 38r is a pretty good combo. Bts valve body, 6.0 tranny cooler, regulated return, gauges if you dont got them, 6637 if you dont have an intake. You're prolly makin 300 right now

Re: What should I buy next?

if your running an sct tune with sct tunes contact someone who can write custom tunes.
DP can do it i am not sure who else can.

a gt 38r will lower egts vs a stocker, and surge far less to none especially on stock injectors. but only net you about a 16 hp gain. it will however all and support larger injectors and then you will see hp gains. you will also need tranny mods , as you go beyond just tunes intake and exhuast. once you are in to full tweaked 238+ injectors your looking at a fully tweaked tranny aka bts or woods 5k$ by itself. stage ones maybe stage 2 my plan is to run a btter TC valve body and rabbits foot.

if it was me i would buy
a 6.0 hybird tc (has the same face as a 7.3 tc) 500+
a valve body (bts woods ftc etc) 225
a v10 tranny cooler or 6.0 100+
a gt38r 1399 (dieselsite)
new tunes 150? +/-
stage 1-2 injectors rosewood 800-1300
reg return ..diesel innovations 399

thats a bit over 4000

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.
