Aftermarket intercoolers

I am interested in getting an aftermarket intercooler for my 99 7.3 truck. I see lots of ads for BD, Spearco, and Mishimoto among others. What's the difference between all of them if any? Which one is best? Should I avoid any in particular?

Any advice in this area is appreciated.

Thanks,
Drake

Re: Aftermarket intercoolers

I have had a DI inter cooler for 5-6 years now, if I were in the market for another ic I would buy DI again.

Re: Aftermarket intercoolers

If the stocker is broken i would consider upgradin but 1500 for an ic could be put to better use elsewhere. Everyone aint got 400/400's like mr luke

and all of the money you have spent on your truck could have been put to better use elsewhere but modding trucks is what we like.....

my vote is for the tapercore as well.....love mine.....although the DI unit appears to have a good following too.....

Re: Aftermarket intercoolers

The amount of Egt drop depends on mods. I'm interested in this info also.

Why can't people keep there OTHER comments to them self.
